Hanseatic Marine Rabdan

Retired German industrialist Guido Crass wanted a yacht that was elegant and fast, but not overpowering. So he decided to set up his own shipyard in Australia and invited the naval architect and designer Espen Oeino to consult him. Oaino suggested he build the boat in aluminum. Rabdan's proportions are striking. Measuring 73.3 metres in length, she is 10 metres wide and weighs in at just 540 tonnes! With two 3,306 hp engines and a single shaft machine she can reach a speed of 27 knots. At 17 knots, she has a range of 4,500 miles without refueling. In addition to the owner's suite, the yacht has five guest cabins and two VIP cabins. She has a modern and minimalist interior. The fourth son of the UAE founder Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan bought the yacht in 2009. He is currently the Emir of the western region of Abu Dhabi.
